The fair is always a crazy, fast, can be stressful, but a VERY fun week! Each day is full of activities, games, shows, and entertainment that I love attending every year. Here is a summary of the things I did this past week...
Friday August 13th
On Friday Easton, Hunter, and I all showed our steers in the livestock 4-H show. Easton placed 5th in his class, Hunter took 4th in his class, and I took 4th overall. That day I helped with the childrens fair and then later on with the local rodeo.
Thursday August 12thThursday was a busy day as we weighed in our steers, I helped with the childrens fair, did showmanship with my steer, and went to the concert later that night. I took Hunter as my date to the Aaron Tippin concert and we had a good time laughing together!
Wednesday August 11th
Berlin Elderedge, Brionna Laws, Brooke Bowring, Janessa Bowring, Kendyl Boyd, Mersadez Slade
Mud volleyball was great! We won a few games and had a wonderful time playing in the mud
Tuesday August 10th
Tuesday was a good day. The royalty was able to do the opening ceremony and awarded the volunteer of the year. We also had the wrestling navajo taco dinner and then later performed in the Farm Bureau Talent Find as filler talents. I sang one of my favorite songs, ''All American Girl'' by Carrie Underwood for my talent.
Monday August 9th-
I helped Monday night with the family games. It was new this year and we played different ''minute to win it'' games. Between Easton, Davi, and I we walked away with about $80! It was fun!
Saturday August 7
Saturday was the mud bog at the fair. We went and watched for a couple of hours and had a perfect view from the top of Rob's camping trailer. Dallen, Davi, Easton, and I all took camping chairs and set them up on top to watch the events. Later that night we went to the rodeo
