!Krispy Kreme and Pack and Clean!

Today was a very bitter sweet day. I had to pack up and move out of my apartment 301 at Ventana in Orem... It is hard to believe that I have completed one full year of college at Utah Valley University and that my wonderful mom and sister are here to help me once again move boxes up and down 3 flights of stairs.

Dear Anna, Sam, Ashlee, and Hannah....my amazing roommates! It has been a very short but great journey with you over this past year. I want to thank each of you for the amazing women you are! I know that my college experience this year would not have been as great if it had not been for your smiles, giggles, your good influences and examples to help me along. I was very blessed to get to know each of you and to build strong relationships with you. My favorite memories of college always involve you!!

Anna.... Where do I start. Thank you so very much for always being there for me, and for your bright smile every day. I have learned from you to always keep going no matter what is in my path of life. That singing in the shower to the radio with candles lit in the bathroom can be a very relaxing way to relieve stress :) That you can never have too much chocolate! Talking things out is much better than holding it in, and that being a little crazy around others is okay. I will always remember the late nights that you would come home and although everyone was sleeping you would belt out your laugh and it would wake us all up. Or the time that we were making gingerbread houses with our mom's and got in a huge frosting fight! Also the time that I pretended to get engaged and you were estatically jumping and screaming when I showed you my fake ring! haha I love the energy and fun spirit that you have. Your ability to make friends and to welcome people into your life is an example to all. You will always have a special place in my heart and I hope to stay in contact with you!

Samentha... You are one amazing girl! Lets just say I hope that I can have a busy schedule like you and be able to handle it as well as you do and still get great grades in school! It amazes me how you are able to juggle so many crazy classes as well as work, institute council, family things, CAL, non-sleeping life, and everything else. I always knew when you were awake because Ashlee would be hysterically laughing at you for something different every day. You are such a nice person and can make anyone smile :) I love the determination you have to do good and the motivation to keep you going. I appreciate you love towards me and also your families love. You have such a neat family and I really hope to someday go on a service trip with you and your dad. I know you are going to always do great at whatever you choose.

Ashlee...I owe a big thanks to you for helping me feel comfortable about moving in to college. It was a big change for me as a small town girl to move into the city and to live with a bunch of girls in a place that I wasn't familiar with at all. The first day I met you I thought you were crazy and my opinion still hasn't changed but I love you for it. One of my favorite memories with you was when I let you drive my stick shift car home from church one day and we ended up switching drivers before we even got home! Or when I drove around the round about 8 or 9 times just so we could laugh away a bad day. Also when I bought that dog for my brother for Christmas and we had to hide it in the shower all night! Thank you for the laughs, memories, and many good times! You're going to be an amazing leader and yes, someday your prince will come! :)

Hannah...You are such a strong girl! Life throws crazy trials and stumbling blocks along our paths and you have shown me how to keep trudging on even when it seems that you are at a dead end. It was good that you moved in with us at the beginning of the year and I am grateful that I got to know you. When I first moved to college I thought I was going to die moving in with a bunch of dancers, but you have shown me that they aren't too bad after all :) Not saying that I will become a dancer, but I can make friends with them! lol Keep your beautiful smile (especially since the braces are gone!) and your outgoing personality!

When we woke up to move out there was snow all over the ground!!! Who would have thought that we'd still be getting big snow storms at the end of April?...not me.

Thank you Davi, Mom, and Dallen for helping me move out and clean my apartment! It was fun to be able to move it to the house that will soon be for both Dallen and I! I love all of you very much and appreciate the time you took away from your busy schedules to help me!

Bridal Pics #1

I had my bridal pictures taken at Wheeler Farms in Salt Lake City and they turned out great! ...At least for the few that we were able to take. It was pretty cold and we ended up getting snowed out! Here are some of the pictures we took on the first day.

The story behind this picture is quite funny. Right below me on the side of the stairs is a goose nest that had eggs in it. The mom wasn't very happy about our arrival and became really defensive. It was hissing and snorting at us as we walked closer and closer to its territory. We didn't think that it'd actually do anything but after too long, it attacked my mom! It grabbed a hold of the bottom of her pants and tried to hit her with its wings. We got it off of her and everything was fine but we learned our lesson to never mess with momma geese. :)

Happy Birthday #19

For my 19th birthday Dallen took me on a dinner and movie date. We went to the Provo mall and ate at the Red Robin (which was really good!) and then went to the movie "Hannah". While we were at the mall we bought a bag of fortune cookies and read them for fun. We also took our pictures at the picture booths they have there and just spent time together. That's all that really mattered to me was getting to spend some time with the one that I love so very much! Thank you Dallen for the fun night and for taking the time to let me know that you love me! I had a great time!

Brooke & Wyatt's Wedding

Today Brooke Bowring and Wyatt Kimball were married in the St. George temple. Brooke met Wyatt on New Years Eve this year and about 1 1/2 weeks later they were engaged. It was pretty quick and most of us were surprised, but they feel that it is right and I guess that's all that matters. They ordered their rings and got everything put together in just a couple months and chose their wedding day to be April 9, 2011. Dallen and I traveled down for the wedding and stayed at Collett Curtis' house the night before. The day of the wedding my mom, dad, Dallen, and I drove to the temple and went inside to wait for everyone to come. I haven't been through the temple yet and watching my family go down the hallway without me was really hard for me. I wanted to be able to go with them so bad! The good thing is that I will be able to in just a couple of months when I go through for my own endowments before Dallen and I get married~!The sealing ceremony went well and not before too long, the married couple was able to come out of the temple. I was a little surprised with the wedding shoes that Brooke chose to wear, but it shows her personality... :)

Just a couple of wedding pics...
Later that night we traveled to Fredonia, AZ for the reception where Wyatt grew up. It was a pretty small town but they had a lot of support there. Their wedding was themed with puzzle pieces and her colors were lime green, yellow, and black.
We wish Brooke and Wyatt the best of luck and hope that their life together brings them happiness and joy! Love you both!
