Our Before and AFTER House!

I am so excited for this post... As I look back at old pictures and make comparisons to what we have been able to do to, I feel that we made our house into a home! The experience has been very worth it and we are thrilled with our outcome! Thank you Dallen, family, and friends who all helped us along the way! We greatly appreciate it!
Enjoy the pics and see what you think?!

Mini Photo Shoot

Candis Joe's family was able to come down for a couple days this past week and while they were down here we did a little photo shoot with Parli, Chloe, and Maclee. Aunt Camille wanted the girls to dress up in dresses and these omish hats and take a picture for her birthday present so that's just what we did. They were quite fun to take pictures of an we were lucky to capture just a few shots of all of them looking at the camera and smiling. They are super cute girls!

.... and of coarse we couldn't leave out Porter, but I'm not positive he enjoyed it as much as the girls.

I also took a couple shots of Sawyer playing in the living room. He's getting bigger and more handsme every day! I love this boy and his big brown eyes!

Happy Birthday DAVI!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Today is my little sister, Davi's Birthday! It is so crazy how fast time has gone, and the baby of our family is now 11 years old! Davi is such a beautiful and fun girl and I love her to death! Right now Davi is in 5th grade, is involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, and horse riding. She has two horses and takes riding lessons from Kim Young who lives just down the road. Her horses names are Trigger (the brown one) an Spirit (the buckskin). She has a sense of humor of her own and is full of life and laughter. I could make an endless list, but here are just 11 things I love about my sister...
1. Davi is my sister and always will be
2. Davi loves to be involved with family activities
3. Davi is fun and full of energy
4. Davi has a contagious smile
5. Davi can make anyone laugh
6. Davi has a strong testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
6. Davi is very smart and has great grades
7. Davi is a hard worker and loves to help Dad on the elk ranch
8. Davi is a great example to her family and friends around her
9. Davi is beautiful
10. Davi is honest and determined to do her best in everything
11. Lastly, but not least, Davi makes up a countless of my favorite memories and teaches me new things all the time. I love her very much and look up to the amazing girl she is!

I hope you have a great birthday! I love you!

Spring is in the Air

Over the past couple of weeks it has been really warm and nice outside! Spring is in the air and with it brings new colors and blossoms outside. As I have had my new camera I have become a little more "picture happy" and have LOVED experimenting and playing with my new fun 'toy'! I was so excited that I even took a picture of the dandelions in our yard. It was fun to get out the mower for the first time this spring and clean up the front yard! I am really excited to work with Dallen out in the yard this summer. We plan to make new improvements on our landscaping (if you can call it that right now). I've always loved outside projects and it has been rejuvenating to start some of those projects lately. Below are some of the spring flowers that have come out around our neighborhood. I think they're beautiful and bring the "spring feeling that's in the air"
(p.s. I LOVE my camera! Thank you so much Dallen!)

The bright pink blossoms could possibly be my favorite this spring! These trees were at my sister Kaitlin's house and it makes me want to plant some of these trees in our yard. They are so pretty in blossom!

...And this tree is just down the block from our house. Every time I see it I am reminded of the primary song, "Popcorn Popping". Doesn't it look justlike popcorn on a tree?? I think so :)
Another fun and new thing that spring has brought with it is our new dune buggy! Dallen was able to sell some of his derby cars and we got this. I haven't been out to the sand dunes yet, or even been in a dune buggy before, but I sure am excited to find out what it's like! Dallen has been working on this the past little while with Uncle Sam and we are excited to take it out in a couple of weeks together! It'll bring back a lot of memories for Dallen as it is the buggy that his dad built when he was 22.

I am also excited to spend some time with this little girl and train her to be a great dog! Xela has been so fun to have around the house and I have expecially liked her company when Dallen is gone to work. She has quite the personality and is full of energy all the time. She brings a lot of laughter to our house and I am happy we were able to get her.
....Oh, and I can't forget the BBQ grill! I love this time of year when we are able to have cook-outs and use the grill for almost all of our meals. Thank you Franki and Ian for helping us to enjoy our summers outside! We love it!
It is going to be a lot of fun when it warms up a little more and we can play in the water as well! Spring is a great time of the year!

20th Birthday party

For my Birthday, all of the Proctor family came to Lehi and we had a BBQ at the park. It was fun to celebrate with them! Here are a couple of pics of Janice's kids playing at the park.
(Thanks again Dallen for the GREAT birthday present! I had a lot of fun experimenting with my new camera!!!)

The park was really fun as we played on the playground, had a little 3-kill competition, soccer, delicious food, and fun! Afterwards we headed to our house for some dessert and more fun. (We didn't have any candles so Dallen lit a match for me to blow out. haha)

Porter asked us how come we didn't have any toys at our house to which we replied, "We don't have any kids yet..." He wasn't too satisfied with our answer so we found a package of water balloons and that was our entertainment for the remainder of the night! It was quite fun to watch the kids as they had 'contests' to take turns popping the balloons. What cute kids they are!

One of the contests was an arm wrestle...
...And another was stick pulling

It was quite humorous to watch the kids compete against each other. They were our entertainment for the night and I loved it! It was just the birthday I wanted...Celebration with family and a great night for all!

Thank you family and friends for the calls, cards, and dinner!
It was a GREAT day!
