A Lot in Common?

Who would have every thought that these two cute and innocent children would meet someday and fall in love?...It has been so much fun as Dallen and I have gathered pictures for our wedding video and have further solidified that we do "HAVE A LOT IN COMMON." From the very beginning of dating, Dallen has mentioned that we have a lot in common and we have somewhat turned it into a little joke. Here are just a few examples to show that we really do!...

Both were born into loving families who knew that we were special blessings from above. We were both the largest babies our mothers gave birth to... (oh-no)... and had unique personalities. I think we both owe a big thanks to the patience of our mothers!

Getting firewood is something that we have grown to love. It started at a young age with both of us and we hope to continue that tradition as we raise our family.

Side by side with our dad's working on projects to better our lands and homes. We both had perfect examples of hard workers!

living the cowboy and cowgirl life... love the country!

Typical girl-ears piercings and wanting to look pretty
Typical boy- playing in the dirt and mud with mischievous smiles

Tents, campfires, smores, hot dogs, friends, family, quality time, and...

Fishing... and more. The outdoors are great!

Both mechanically inclined and enjoy working in the shop

Wonderful teens...

Athletic and involved in all different sports throughout high school. Janessa-volleyball, basketball, softball and track. Dallen-football, wrestling, baseball, and track which he continued playing/running in college at SUU.

Graduation.... Moving to the next stage in life called independence

Providing entertainment for the community. Janessa-found many times with a microphone in front of a crowd. Must have inherited my Grandma Bowring's genes. Dallen-continues to thrive off of loud cars, welding, engineering, playing in the dirt and fulfilling the saying of "boys and their toys" :)

Leaning on siblings in times of need and times of greatest joy. What would we do without them!?

Both raised in beautiful families who are continuing to grow closer together.

Righteous members of the church who are anxious to help bring the fullness of Christ to all who are willing to accept.

Bachelorette Party!!!

Doing something crazy and fun is what my friends and I thought would make a good bachelorette party so we decided to go to the festival of colors...

As you can see, we were completely covered in chalk by the time we left the party. Our hair, teeth, ears, noses, and clothes were plastered with different colors...

Sam and I thought that we would take our anatomy lab goggles to keep it out of our eyes but they obviously didn't work. After one hit with chalk we were basically blind with the goggles on our faces so they didn't last too long.

After the festival we went and ate some dinner at a restaurant and then went back to my apartment to play some games and to open presents. Unfortunately for the blondes, the color stayed in their hair for a few weeks but eventually faded out. Good thing all of mine washed out so I didn't have pink hair for my engagement pictures that were to be taken the next day! Thanks for the fun time and all the support you guys!! Love ya!

Engagement Pictures!

Dallen and I had our engagement pictures taken by my uncle, Taylor Black, and by Jami Wright (the one who set us up on a blind date). I am really happy with how they all turned out and am super excited to use them for our announcements! Here are just a few of the pics and snap shots that were taken by both photographers.... :)

Thank you so much for you time and efforts Taylor and Jami!! We love what you have done for us and are so excited for June 16th!!! Thanks for being a part in our journey and for all of your loving support! We love you!
