Pictures at the Temple

Although pictures can get long and boring by the end, they are worth it! I am grateful we were able to capture our special wedding day! Thanks for your patience Dal :)

Thank you Aubree for the fantastic pictures you took! They turned out great!

OUR Special, Special Day 6~16~11

*!!US!!*
OUR Wedding day came!! Dallen and I have prepared ourselves the best we could for this day talking, planning, loving, laughing, dreaming and praying. How beautiful the temple was when we arrived on the morning of June 16, 2011. Only smiles were present with everyone there, and we felt the spirit so strong! I absolutely loved the hallways inside the Manti temple and the "Castle" feel that it had. When we walked inside, the temple workers took Dallen to his dressing room while I went to the bridal room. It was beautiful! There was a little table with a lamp, and flowers on it. Mirrors covered the walls and there were a couple of chairs to sit. The chandelier reflected in the mirrors and the room just seemed to sparkle. Christine and my Mom came with me into the bridal room and helped me change into my dress, lace up the back, fix my hair just right and put my temple clothes on. It was really special for me to have them there and to share this experience with me. We had smiles that wouldn't go away, and a few tears that trickled down our faces, and we were so happy to be at this special temple wedding!

It came time to meet Dallen and walk up the spiral staircase into our sealing room. Dallen escorted me and we both were amazed with the architecture and detail in the staircase all the way up. Our sealer took us into the sealing room and when he opened the doors I got emotional with how beautiful the room was. It was a light blue room with a really tall ceiling, a big gorgeous chandelier, the alter in the middle, and the never ending mirrors. It was amazing to be there with Dallen and to soak in the moment :) The sealer talked to us for a while and then our family all came in the room. We had so much support that many people had to stand the whole time. Our sealer talked for quite some time and to be honest, Dallen and I don't really remember what he said, but we remember how we felt. The best part in my opinion was being able to kneel at the alter across from Dallen, and say YES!

After the marriage ceremony we exchanged rings, and I accidentally put Dallen's ring on his right hand.... OOPS! We were congratulated and gave every person a hug before leaving to go change and meet the kids outside :) Here are a bunch of pictures that were taken with our families and friends. Thank you so much for everyone who came to support us at the temple! It meant a lot to see so many there!
